Dear new team-member!

OpenDocumentPHP needs new team-members, fresh minds and new ideas. The current to-do-list is long and the numbers of developers is much too short. So we would welcome you, if you are willing to join us.

PEAR Packages and Server

Currently we are seeking for some one with knowledge or willing to try to set-up a PEAR package server for OpenDocumentPHP. - If you are interested, please feel free to contact Norman via IRC or email.

PHP Developers

We also need PHP developers with a good OOP and/or DOM knowledge. Here mainly two sub-projects are in our current interested:

- XML/DOM equality

Testing our product makes it useful that we can check produced XML files to be 'DOM-equal', which means that they produce the same DOM tree in PHP after parsing with the DOMDocument class from PHP (5.2.X). So it would be nice to have a class, which is testing DOM-equality of two XML files or two DOM documents. - More informations can be obtained by Norman via IRC or email.

- Automated RelaxNG to PHP class-templates converter

Most of the classes in OpenDocumentPHP are relatively easy to write, because they are only a transfer of the RelaxNG definition of OpenDocumentPHP. So we think, this could be automated. Therefore we need a class which reads the RelaxNG definition document are create some base classes which can be inherited by our stuff where needed.  - You want more informations about this project, please contact Norman via IRC or email.

Both sub-project would be useful to OpenDocumentPHP and, as we guess, to many other open source project in the world. So please help us and all the others by spending some time to develop them.

Yours

 Norman Markgraf
